Where release notes live
Published IntraLLM release notes are maintained on the official website so that every deployment — on-premise or cloud — has a single source of truth:
- Release Notes — published changes per release: new features, improvements, and fixes.
Within the product, administrators can also check the current version and available updates from the About section of user settings and from the Licensing page of the Admin Panel.
Version numbering
IntraLLM releases follow a major.minor.patch pattern:
| Change | Meaning for you |
|---|---|
| Major / minor (for example 3.0 → 4.0) | Substantial improvements and enhancements. Read the release notes before scheduling; your support agreement covers upgrade assistance. |
| Patch (for example 4.0.1 → 4.0.2) | Bug fixes and small improvements. Lower risk, applied on your maintenance schedule. |
How upgrades reach your deployment
- Included with your licence — software updates and upgrades are part of Standard and Plus maintenance (Pricing & Licensing).
- On-premise — upgrades are applied by your admin team or the IntraLLM support team during an agreed maintenance window.
- IntraLLM Cloud — upgrades are applied by the IntraLLM team within your agreed support hours.
Staying informed
- Subscribe to announcements via Contact/Newsletter or follow the Blog.
- Review release notes before each upgrade window.
- Test new versions in a non-production deployment first where possible — your administrator guide's licensing page explains what to check.
Tip: Enterprise customers on the Plus service level receive proactive notification of Severity-1 fixes as they are published.
