Account & Security

Manage your profile image and name, change your password, set a notification webhook, and handle your personal access key.

My Settings → Account covers your identity in the platform and the security of your access.

Your profile name and avatar appear beside your messages and in shared conversations.

Note:

If your organisation uses Single Sign-On, some profile details may come from your corporate directory and be read-only here.

Update Password

Provide Current password, New password and Confirm new password, then select Update.

Good practice — and usually policy:

  • Use a long, unique passphrase you don't reuse elsewhere; a password manager makes this easy.
  • Change it immediately if you suspect exposure, and whenever you hand over a role.
  • Administrators can issue a temporary reset if you're locked out. See Reset Admin Password for the administrator-side process.

Notification Webhook

Enter a webhook URL to have the platform POST notifications (for example, finished long jobs) to a system you control — commonly a chat-ops channel or an internal automation. Configure it on the receiving side first, then paste the URL here and save.

Note:

Webhooks send data to the address you provide. Only use endpoints inside your organisation's trust boundary.

Access key

Some workspaces allow a personal secret key for programmatic access — so your own scripts and integrations can use the platform under your permissions.

ActionEffect
Create new key / Create new secret keyGenerates a key. The value is shown once — use Show value and Copy at that moment and store it in your password manager or secrets vault.
RotateReplaces the key with a new one, invalidating the old. Rotate on suspicion of leak or on your regular schedule.
Hide / Show valueControls whether the stored value is visible.

Treat keys like passwords: never commit them to source code, paste them into chats, or store them in documents. A leaked key acts with your permissions.
